Cleveland was definitely the place to be in the year of the “216”. Stipe Miocic won the UFC Heavyweight Championship, the Lake Erie Monsters won the Calder Cup, and our Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Championship. We also hosted a parade of 1.3 million people followed by the RNC during one of the most controversial elections years of my lifetime, and we saw our beloved Cleveland Indian’s make it to the World Series; needless to say, it has been an amazing year! I spent a lot of time shooting downtown this year and experiencing Cleveland’s rebirth and it has been nothing but awesome.

I had many requests to shoot downtown. This was one of my seniors, Carmen, Perry Class of 2017

Wow, what a difference a year can make. I had the pleasure meeting some of my favorite photographers; Sam Hurd, Meg Bitton, and Sandra Bianco. A few of my images were finalists in the 'Shoot and Share' contest, with several making it to the top 10% of 225,000 photo submissions.
